Arab-Jewish Gap Year

A joint year of learning and service for Arab and Jewish young people

The Arab-Jewish Volunteer Year brings together an incredible group of Arab and Jewish high school graduates for a shared experience of learning and volunteer service in schools from both communities. Founded in the Negev, the project now has cohorts in Lod and Jaffa, too, with a total of 72 participants. An Alumni Community brings together the over 500 young people who have completed the program since 2002.

Shared Society

Bringing together Arab and Jewish high school students and teachers

Shared Society brings together Arab and Jewish tenth graders and their teachers for a year of joint leadership activities. Founded in the Negev, it is now being expanded to Central Israel. A related program, Shared Learning is similar but features joint English courses.
