AJEEC on Wheels: Update

“Kids deserve to be happy”

AJEEC on Wheels Provides Relief to Children in Arab Bedouin Villages

AJEEC on Wheels is an innovative program utilizing a specially equipped bus to reach out to children and youth in the most remote Arab Bedouin villages in Israel’s Negev region.

Over the past week, AJEEC on Wheels engaged more than 500 kids in the Arab Bedouin villages of Arara, Qasr al-Sir, Segev Shalom, and Wadi Al Na’am, bringing them recreational activities during these stressful times of missile attacks on the Negev.

We believe that bringing activities to the kids near their homes builds resilience and helps them develop a sense of security.

Ibrahim al Harub, father of one of our program participants, said, “These activities contribute to the kids’ wellbeing, especially during these difficult times. The children deserve to be happy during their summer vacation”.
