Ilan Fathi is the Co-Director of AJEEC-NISPED’s Department of Health Promotion and the Environment. Ilan holds a BA in Geography and Environmental Studies and an MA in Urban Planning, both from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
Ilan founded and was the Educational Director of Breaking the Silence, a nonprofit organization active in promoting human rights in the West Bank and advancing a just peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
He has extensive social activism experience in Israeli-Palestinian and Middle Eastern conflict transformation, including training and facilitation with: the Association for Civil Rights in Israel, the Mandel Institute, Repair the World, TIDES, the US State Department, Voluntary Service International, and Zochrot.
Ilan is a founding member of Kama Cooperative Community (Kehilat Kama), an urban kibbutz in Beer Sheva.
